clusterof.us is a private-beta peer-to-peer compute platform. It connects job submitters with contributor nodes to distribute workloads across a volunteer network of machines.
We are in active development. Access is invite-only. The platform may change, go offline, or behave unexpectedly. We will do our best to give advance notice when that happens, but we cannot guarantee it.
There are no uptime SLAs during beta. Do not use clusterof.us for workloads where failure has serious real-world consequences.
You may submit any workload that is legal in your jurisdiction and does not harm the network or its contributors. Specifically, the following are not allowed:
Violations may result in immediate termination of access. We will cooperate with law enforcement requests where legally required.
Contributor nodes are machines owned and operated by independent volunteers who have opted in to the clusterof.us network. Contributors are not employees of clusterof.us.
If you are a contributor: your participation is governed by the separate Contributor Agreement you accepted when you installed the node software. These Terms of Service apply to job submitters, not to contributors, except where both roles overlap.

As a job submitter, you must not attempt to identify, contact, or direct individual contributor nodes outside of the scheduler. Nodes are anonymous by design.
You own your job data. The inputs you submit and the outputs you receive belong to you.
clusterof.us does not inspect the content of job payloads during normal operation. Job specs, input data, and output files are treated as opaque to us. The scheduler sees job metadata (size, preset, resource requirements) but not payload content.
We reserve the right to inspect job content in two cases: a credible report of a terms violation, or a request from law enforcement with appropriate legal process.
Contributor nodes process job shards. They receive only the portion of data needed for their assigned shard. They do not receive your full dataset by default. However, you should not submit data that must never touch a third-party machine.
The service is provided as-is, with no warranties, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
clusterof.us is not liable for: lost or corrupted job data, failed or incomplete job runs, downtime, indirect or consequential damages, or losses arising from reliance on results produced by the network.
Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid to clusterof.us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow liability exclusions. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We will update these terms as the platform matures. When we make material changes, we will email all current invite holders at least 14 days before the new terms take effect.
Minor changes (typos, clarifications that do not affect your rights) may be made without notice. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Continuing to use the platform after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of those terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, stop using the service and notify us via the contact page.

Once your access request is approved, you will be assigned a dedicated workload specialist. They are your primary point of contact for any issues, problems, or questions that arise during your use of the platform. Reach them directly through the details provided in your onboarding.

There is no phone support during the beta period.
